[B]Former Kentucky linebacker Sam Maxwell[/B] has signed a free agent contract with the New Orleans Saints.
Maxwell played at UK from 2006-09. During his final season in Lexington, he made 80 tackles, including 5.5 tackles for loss. He also grabbed 6 interceptions.
The Saints are the current Super Bowl champions in the NFL.
