Front seat, to the back seat and now back to the front. Enes Kanter and his eligibility case with the NCAA will again take front row in the news for the week ahead. Kanter isn’t the only thing that Big Blue Nation should be looking for. There are basketball games, the completion of year 1 of Operation: Win, recruiting news with DeAndre Daniels and much more.

Enes Kanter:
The excitement and anxiety of potential news in the Enes Kanter case took a back seat last week when NCAA spokesman Chuck Wynne stated that there would be no announcement made in the Kanter case until after the first of the year. Well NCAA, it is now the first of the year and it’s time for you guys to step up and bring this to an end. No one really knows if anything will come out this week or not, but the previous statement certainly puts Enes Kanter and his case back in the news.
Kentucky vs. Pennsylvania:
There is a game tomorrow night at 7:00pm. The Wildcats and a red hot Josh Harrellson have their last regular season game before entering the SEC portion of their schedule. Pennsylvania and Kentucky have played each other 4 times in the past and the Wildcats have won every game. The last meeting was in 1999 with a final score of 67-50. The game is televised on ESPNU but Nation of Blue will have a live stream for those that don’t get the U.
Kentucky vs. Pitt:
The football Wildcats will play their final game of the 2010 season against Pittsburgh on Saturday in the BBVA Compass Bowl. Ticket sales will be the theme this week as both schools make a final push to get as many fans as they can in attendance. It’s been a disappointing season for Joker Phillips as seen through the eyes of Big Blue Nation and that makes this a must win game to try to stir some excitement going into 2011. It’s not just a big game for Joker Phillips, it’s a big game for Morgan Newton too…
DeAndre Daniels:
Everyone is still waiting on DeAndre Daniels to make a college selection. Especially Kentucky fans. Daniels was a hot topic on the internet yesterday when it was expected he would make an announcement. Late last night, the hopes of that were flattened and now it seems as if the decision will not come until Monday or Tuesday.
It’s a busy week ahead with the news mentioned above, in addition to UK Hoops taking the court against Duke. Nation of Blue will be here to carry you through it all, as long as your here with us. Stick around, it’s going to be a fun week.
