In the coming weeks we would expect to hear something about the Enes Kanter appeal process. Until then, everything is just speculation. Just like the time leading up to the official ruling from the NCAA, no one has any facts on the process except that UK will appeal before the end of the month. We do know a couple of things about the appeals process which are worth reviewing and the items that will be on the table.

1. Enes Kanter will have the opportunity to speak to the appeals committee.
2. The committee is made up of people from member institutions and not NCAA staff.
3. The facts of the case are agreed upon by the NCAA and UK. It’s now a matter of deciding if the interpretation of the usage of the excessive monies could allow for a different ruling.
4. The FREE ENES movement is still going strong and UK fans desperately want to see Kanter suited up and on the court.
On to a bit of different Enes news, a song has been written about his story. It has become the normal for Big Blue Nation to have songs and dances as a regular part of their season and so this one should be no exception. Now, I am not a huge music buff but have been known to identify a good beat when heard. For me, the jury is still out on this one.
