ESPN’s Chris Low Loves Randall Cobb

One of ESPN;s College Football writers, Chris Low, loves him some Randall Cobb when the game is on the line. Can’t see that I blame him!!

People ask me all the time who’s the one guy in this league I would pick if I needed somebody to make a play.

He just made a pair of plays that personify why he’s such a great player in staking Kentucky to a 20-3 lead against Louisville.

First, he made a one-handed grab of a ball behind him over the middle (with his left hand) when it looked like the pass might be intercepted.

On the very next play, he lined up in the shotgun at quarterback, sprinted left and then showcased his speed on his way to a 51-yard touchdown run.

Props go out to Kentucky offensive coordinator Randy Sanders, too. He’s really done a nice job of keeping Louisville off balance with his play-calling.
