Drillers Win Home Opener 38-26

In a night that saw former Heavyweight Champ Buster Douglas do the coin toss, there wasn’t a lot of offensive punch for the Drillers or Huntington Hammer in Pikeville last night.

Defense was the name of the game as the Drillers had 1 safety and 4 interceptions to beat the visiting Huntington Hammer 38-26.

Former EKU alum and Driller’s quarterback Al Holland led the offense with 4 touchdown passes.

David Jones, former Kentucky defensive back, returns kicks and also plays on the defensive side of the ball for the Drillers.

You can check out all the highlights and interview with David Jones below.

The Drillers next play on Saturday March 12 vs. Jared Lorenzen’s Northern KY River Monsters.
