It’s simple… Drake is one of the hottest recording artists out there right now and having his endorsement is a huge advantage when you persuade 17 and 18 yr olds to come to your school. You might not be allowed to give gifts to the players, but keeping the people they admire to keep them close to your program is completely within the rules.
However, just because something is within the rules doesn’t mean that the fans will agree with it. It seems this is a touchy subject and believe Drake should not receive a ring since he did not make the same sacrifices as the team.
