Doron Lamb, Kyle Wiltjer Bury Penn State

Doron Lamb had his stroke on and Kyle Wiltjer got the most out of his new found playing time as the Kentucky Wildcats blew out the Penn State Nittany Lions 85-47.

Lamb was 8-13 from the field, 3-6 from behind the arc, and 7-7 from the free throw line to lead Kentucky to their 3rd straight win.

Kyle Wiltjer showed his arsenal of offensive moves making 6 of his 12 shot attempts, making 2 of 5 threes, and 5 of 6 from the free throw line for 19 points.

This game was over from the start as the Lamb was hot early and the Cats used their transition game to basically run Penn State out of the gym.

Terrence Jones had several nice moves, still shoots too many threes for my liking, but had an nice overall statline of 15 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists, 1 steal, 1 block, and only 1 turnover.

Marquis Teague showed that he can hit the three with a little bit of consistency, not missing in 3 attempts and finishing with 9 points. He finished with only 1 assist and 4 turnovers.

The rest of the scoring for the Cats: Kidd-Gilchrist 9, Davis 3, Long 2, Vargas 1, Polson 1.
