One of my all time favorite’s was sentenced in a Laurel County court room on Tuesday. Hopefully a ticket scam will not be the last thing Derrick Miller will be remembered for.
Miller received two years in jail with five years probated. Luck for him that means if he stays out of trouble he will managed to stay out of prison. He’ll also have to pay around $4K in restitution which should be easy with the increase in ticket prices this year.
[PRBREAK][/PRBREAK]OK… sorry about that last line, I just couldn’t help myself. Miller is one of my all time favorites and I wish him the best. I would love to see him land some type of coaching position in a small program somewhere in the state.
