It was reported yesterday that Demarcus Cousins punched a South Carolina fan when he was leaving the court after Tuesday’s game. A student named “Stephen” reported to a South Carolina reporter that he received a “chicken wing” as Boogie was leaving the court. I’m really getting tired of Cousins getting a bad wrap about his temper. I’ll take his passion on the floor any day of the week!

So what does all this mean? It means there’s a student and a reporter that declare that Boogie hit “Stephen”. I don’t know about you, but I find it hard to believe this happened. I think at best, the student was rushing the floor and ran into Cousins.

I really don’t see how this story even got legs.. It’s ridiculous!
From the beginning of the season Demarcus has been dubbed as a loose cannon and someone who needs to keep his emotions in check. I’m of the opinion that Cousins is just passionate about the team and his play. That may be a reason he’s one of a handful of players that seems to always come to play.
