Dear Eric Bledsoe 3-19-2010

March 19, 2010
Dear Eric Bledsoe,

It had to be a tough decision for a talented point guard like yourself to come to a school that already had some tough competition in that position. For whatever reason you made the choice and I wanted to let you know that I, along with this huge fan following we call the Nation of Blue, are thrilled that you did. You are such a tremendous asset to the Kentucky Wildcats basketball program I just couldn’t imagine this season without #24 running the floor. However, thanking you for coming to UK is not the main reason I write this today.

I wanted to let you know, and show you with the signatures attached to this letter, how proud we are of you and to congratulate you on your performance in the first round game of the NCAA tournament against ETSU. What an amazing game you had; 29 points and 8-9 from three point range? That was awesome and a performance your fans have been waiting for all year. The basket must have appeared to be the size of a trampoline the way the ball was flowing through the net. Just imagine the cheers your fans screamed each time you put it up.

We’re going to keep this letter short. We know your busy resting (that sounds weird, huh?) and mentally preparing for the next game. Again, I just wanted to write to say Congratulations from the Nation of Blue on that incredible performance.

Looking forward to your next 3-pointer,
Scott Z. and…
