Dear Coach Cal May 5, 2010

Dear Coach John Calipari,

Over the past six months I have taken time to write several letters to individual players, the team as a whole and members of the UK Administration voicing my opinion and sharing my joy with everyone. I have thought many times of writing to you a letter to let you know how proud we all are to refer to you as Coach but no time has seemed as appropriate as now. All of the garbage floating around about GPA’s, one-and-done’s, Windy Cities and who knows what else makes the timing perfect for my message.[PRBREAK][/PRBREAK]

March 30, 2009 was a great day for Big Blue Nation. After a two season spiral, the end of March brought hope to all Kentucky Wildcat fans. Hope of renewal, hope of a dedicated leader and hope of on the court greatness. You turned that hope into a reality during this past season by being an Ambassador for Kentucky, winning the SEC Championships, traveling to the Elite Eight and then providing your players with guidance that was in their best personal interests.

Your immediate success has brought out the haters over the past few weeks. I want you to know that your commitment to UK and love for BBN helps us see right past all the bull. Your dedicated to us, and we’re dedicated to you Coach Cal. We support your efforts in academics, recruiting, developing young men and returning the UK program to greatness. We support your efforts and look forward to meeting you at the end of the road to title #8.

Kind Regards,
Scott Z. and…
