Kentucky’s DeMarcus Cousins was named SEC Freshman of the Week after averaging 18.5 points, 13.5 rebounds and 2.5 blocks in wins over No. 25 Ole Miss and at LSU. He had double-double efforts with 18 points and 13 rebounds against Ole Miss and then 19 points and 14 rebounds at LSU. He has recorded six straight double-doubles, becoming the first Wildcat since 1989 to accomplish that feat. Cousins’ 14 double-doubles on the season lead the SEC and are the most by a UK player since 2000.

• Dunlap averaged 20.0 points and a team-high 9.0 rebounds while shooting 61.9 percent from the field in helping Kentucky extend its school-record SEC win streak to seven games. With Dunlap’s help the Wildcats have won eight of their first 10 SEC games for the first time in school history.
• Posted 18 points, including 13 in the first half, on 6-of-10 shooting to go with seven rebounds in UK’s 80-66 win against Ole Miss.
• Eclipsed 700 career rebounds against the Rebels, becoming just the eighth player in school history to register more than 1,000 points and 700 rebounds in a career.
• Scored 20 of her 22 points after intermission at Arkansas, including five points during a crucial 8-0 run midway through the second half that allowed UK to pull away for the win.
