The story of DeAndre Daniels is a simple one, excitement. Daniels first committed to Texas, then later pulled his commitment and reopened his recruiting process.
Late last Summer, he discussed reclassifying from the 2011 Class to the 2010 Class, looked at the option of enrolling into a University for the Fall semester and, because of the potential reclassification, he would be immediately eligible to play.

Eventually, after all the tizzy, he made the decision to enroll at IMG Academy in Florida and be a member of the 2011 Class.
But the Daniels saga was far from over. A few weeks ago, he made it known that he was looking to enroll into a University for the Spring Semester, but not play basketball. Instead, practice with the team and get acclimated to the program, college life and spend some time building his body in preparation for next years season.
Over the last few weeks he’s taken several visits to schools of interest including Kentucky and his most recent, Texas.
His Texas visit completed, speculation is now flying about the Internet world on the final decision for DeAndre. Here are some of the things I have read this morning:

Speculation is exactly that, speculation. One statement made that I can agree with, “In other words – this forecast is still partly cloudy.”
From my perspective, this situation is completely cloudy. Daniels could eventually decide to stay at IMG and complete his Spring semester, throwing everyone into a quick lull again over his recruitment.
If he is in fact going to enroll for the Spring semester, we will know something over the next few days. Until then, believe what you choose until we receive the official announcement.
