Darius Miller was selected as the #46th pick by the New Orleans Hornets in the 2012 NBA Draft.
This is the first time one school has had 6 players selected in an individual draft.
Miller will join Kentucky teammate Anthony Davis, who was the #1 overall pick, and also return to the site where Kentucky won the national championship.
Miller is the 1st Kentucky High School graduate who played at Kentucky to be selected since Scott Padgett in 1999.
He was also the first player to be named KY Mr. Basketball, win a KHSAA Sweet 16, and win a national championship.
Miller’s versatility and maturity will be a positive for him and should improve his chances of making the Hornets roster.
Miller was a 4 year player at Kentucky and last season he averaged 9.9 ppg off the bench as he was named the 6th man of the year in the SEC.
