Daniel Orton’s Knee Surgery Went Well

Happy Christmas Eve to all of the readers of Nation of Blue! It’s sure to be a slow day in UK news but I’ll be here for most of the day to bring you through it. I’m glad you stopped by while you’re awaiting the Jolly One to land on your roof. On to some news, starting with Daniel Orton.[PRBREAK][/PRBREAK]

The ex-Wildcat who entered the NBA draft and was picked 29th overall Daniel Orton underwent surgery this morning on his troublesome left knee, and the Orlando Magic’s rookie center said the procedure went well. Orton received much criticism for the way he left Kentucky despite most thinking he went too early.

A few minutes ago, Orton tweeted the following message: “Thanks for the prayers everyone. GOD let me have a wonderful surgery. Doc said better than he expected. Man GOD is good and works wonders!!!”
