Earlier in the week I wrote in my Conspiracy Theory column that Kentucky fans change momentum. I also said that Cat fans shouldn’t get too high on being 19-0 because if we lose, we as fans could make things look and feel worse than what they really are. I feel like I can predict the future sometimes.[PRBREAK][/PRBREAK]
Anyone that knows Kentucky fans knew what would happen though. From people leaving messages on the player’s facebook pages to blaming the Leader of the Free World for a loss, it is no wonder ESPN announcers talk about us like we are rabid dogs who wouldn’t care if Charlie Manson was our coach just as long as we win. Some fans, not all, really need to relax and enjoy the season. Just because Pat isn’t asserting himself or we don’t out rebound every team we play doesn’t mean it is the end of the world. All that matters is the SEC and NCAA tournament. We will be a #1 seed and everything will be fine. Calipari tried to tell everyone at the beginning of the year that it will take time for these “kids” to learn the dribble drive motion and play defense the way he wants them to play.
Lets let our Coach coach and players play. It will be fun for everyone involved if you would just listen to me when I tell you things are going to happen. Because lately, they happen.
