Coach Calipari and assistant Coach Antigua took some time out of their hectic schedule to watch 2012 recruit Perry Ellis last night in Wichita, Kansas.

Perry didn’t disappoint as he had 21 total points on a short night as he was pulled in the second half. Ellis hit 7-7 shots from the field and made 7-9 from the free throw line to secure his game high points and the 6th win for Wichita Heights (Kan).

Heights hammered helpless Carroll, 62-36, as the Falcons move their record to 6-0 and should maintain their number 1 ranking within the state.

When asked about Calipari And Antigua presence, Ellis had this to say:

“I saw them out there,” said Ellis, a junior who has made those two (Oklahoma and Kentucky) schools part of his final six choices. “I just tried to play hard and whatever happens happens.”

Perry’s current list of schools consist of Kansas, Kentucky, Kansas State, Oklahoma, Memphis and Wichita State.
