Former Wildcats [B]Chris Bisson[/B] and [B]Matt Little[/B] have signed professional baseball contracts.
Bisson, a second baseman, has signed with the San Diego Padres. Little, who served as a right-handed reliever for the Wildcats, signed with the Detroit Tigers.
Both Bisson and Little will open their professional baseball careers Friday night in the league-opening game. Bisson and the Emeralds open its season hosting the Vancouver Canadians, with the Emeralds home games to be played at the new PK Park on the Oregon campus, home of the Ducks. Little’s Tigers will hit the road for its opener, facing the Tri-City Valley Cats in Troy, N.Y.
