Chane Behanan and the University of Kentucky have warmed up to each other over the last couple of weeks. Behanan, the 23rd ranked player on Rivals and the 29th player on Scouts Big Boards, made an unofficial visit to Kentucky on Wednesday August 11.
His visit didn’t result in a scholarship offer by UK or Coach Calipari, at least not officially.
Behanan’s Head Coach had the following to say bout Chane’s recent on campus trip:
[PRBREAK][/PRBREAK]”It was a good trip,” Sherrill said Thursday afternoon. “I think he really enjoyed himself … It was a quick trip, but one he definitely wanted to make.”
“He’s real interested in going to a place where people really want him, and obviously Kentucky has a great history and since Coach Calipari has been there they’ve done nothing but bring in some of the best talent in the country,” Sherrill said.
He added: “There’s real interest on both sides.”
Apparently Chane was interested enough to make a return trip to Lexington for a second time in less then three weeks.
