Championship Game is set for Peach Jam


In the first game, YOMCA defeated the Georgia Stars 78-64 to make it to the title game. Jarnell Stokes played 29 minutes for YOMCA and tallied 12 points on 5 of 13 shooting (2 of 5 from the line). He finished his double-double with 17 rebounds, 4 assists, a block and a steal.

Alex Poythress tallied 11 points for the Georgia Stars on 3 of 10 shooting (1 of 2 from downtown and 4 of 5 from the charity stripe). He also got 4 rebounds and 2 blocks in 20 minutes of play.

Tony Parker achieved 8 points on 4 of 10 shooting for the Georgia Stars. He also got 8 rebounds, a block and a steal in 24 minutes of play.

In the second game, BABC defeated Oakland Soldiers 74-60 to make the championships. Nerlens Noel scored a rare triple-double for BABC with 12 points, 11 blocks and 10 rebounds. He also managed a steal and an assist in 29 minutes of play.

Wayne Selden had an “off” game for BABC, scoring only 1 point on 1 of 2 free-throws (he was 0 for 1 from the field). He did get 2 rebounds, an assist and a steal, but only played 10 minutes.

Brandon Ashley scored 10 points for the Oakland Soldiers on 4 of 12 shooting (made both free-throw attempts). He managed 3 rebounds, 3 blocks and a steal in 25 minutes of play.
