Cats Fall on Road Again

Another road game and another loss… Kentucky comes back but can’t get over the hump as they lose to the 1st place team in the East 70-68.

Brandon Knight led the Cats with 24 points on 7-14 shooting and 4-5 from the 3point line. Knight got the shot he wanted at the end of regulation but couldn’t knock it down for a dramatic finish for the visiting team.

Terrence Jones was tough down the stretch, but I have to question his three point shots. Sorry, I am just not a big fan of Terrence being anywhere outside of 10 feet. Jones finished with 18 point and 7 rebounds.

Darius had a lot better game than the Ole Miss game but he still was non existent in the 2nd half. He did hit a big 3 late but it was the only points he scored in the 2nd half. Miller finished with 9 points 2 rebounds in 32 minutes of play.

Chandler Parsons led the Gators with 17 points 12 rebounds and 5 assists as he was a big player in the win for the SEC’s East 1st place team. Parson had a couple of big putbacks late that helped push the Gators to the victory.

The Cats move to 4-4 in the SEC and the Gators stay in 1st place with a 7-2 mark.

Kentucky has Tennessee Tuesday in Rupp Arena.
