There’s been a lot of talk about the battle between Calipari and Huggins. Most of it has been that Bob Huggins is 8-1 vs. Calipari. However, many people fail to point out that this is back when Huggins and Cal were battling it out in conference USA.
Calipari is at Kentucky now, and since 1980, Kentucky is 3-1 vs West Virginia. The one loss coming last year when Kentucky beat Kentucky (not West Virginia). Everyone knew last years team struggled from the outside. This year, that’s not the case.[PRBREAK][/PRBREAK]Even though Huggins has more NCAA appearances, Calipari has a better NCAA, Close Game, and Overtime record. Those are some pretty important stats going into today’s game.
