Cal Stepping Back from Michael Chandler

Looks like the list is narrowing down for the 2011 class as Zagsblog.com is reporting that the Cats are taking a step back from recruiting Michael Chandler.

Reggie Rose, who also coaches 6-11, 240-pound center Michael Chandler, said Chandler will visit Indiana this coming weekend and will “probably take one more visit” after that.
Rose said they haven’t decided which school will get that visit.
Chandler, who previously committed to Louisville, has already visited Providence and West Virginia.
Rose said Xavier has also become involved recently but that Kentucky had stepped back.
Chandler is the No. 4 center in the Class of 2011.

I think everyone figured this one out when Chandler was saying he was going to Big Blue Madness but then ended up going to Providence. If Cal is going to add anyone to the already blockbuster 2011 class it looks like it will be a guard. The two most prominent names that are out there are Trevor Lacey and Nurideen Lindsey. If I was to guess, I would say it would be Lacey, but you just never know with recruiting.
