I have confirmed with the Pikeville Detention Center that Matt McCutchan, Graduate Assistant/Offensive Line, has been arrested in Pikeville last night and is currently still incarcerated. What I have confirmed through various sources is the entire football staff was in Prestonsburg’s Stone Crest Golf Course for an annual golf outing. The arrest is said to have taken place at the Hampton Inn, located in downtown Pikeville, and definitely involved alcohol intoxication.
It will be interesting to see how this situation is handled, considering the Basketball team’s situation with Rod Strickland’s recent alcohol issues. We will let you know any further information as we find it out.
