Demarcus Cousins has been named the SEC Freshman of The Week for the second time this season. Cousins scored 16 points and 14 rebounds in 17 minutes against Arkansas on Saturday.

The double-double on Saturday was Cousins tenth and puts him one shy of the freshman record of 11 set by Chris Mills. The SEC player of the week award was given to Cousins on week 4, making this his third SEC weekly award for the season.
What do you say. Every week UK’s freshman is bringing home some type of award. Cousins play has been very impressive in the last few weeks. His footwork down low has made his opponents look silly on more than one occasion.
