It started with Pete Thamel’s article and ended with Bledsoe being cleared of a grade scandal that still has some people talking.
Now, Eric speaks out about the situation, although briefly. Lex18 True Blue Coverage had the following to report:
[PRBREAK][/PRBREAK]
”I mean I wasn’t paying that no attention from the jump,” Bledsoe told LEX 18 Sports.
“It was just talk. I was just focusing on me and my career. I mean what happens, happens. They were just trying to find a big deal out of nothing so I mean it happened.”
Since then, Eric has worked his way into the starting Point Guard role for the Los Angeles Clippers where his point guard talents are beginning to shine.
Bledsoe is averaging 31.2 minutes, 9.8 points, 5.2 assists (leads the team) and 3.15 turnovers per game, all while shooting 47.2% from the field. His assist to turnover ratio is 1.65:1, a solid ratio for a rookie point guard in the NBA.
Eric said he still keeps up with the Cats and his former teammates.
”I watch them a lot, I actually talked to a couple people on the staff yesterday. Tony Delk and Rod Strickland, I talked to them yesterday. They told me they were doing pretty good.
What about John Wall and Demarcus Cousins?
“Oh yeah, I talk to them all the time. They doing pretty good and from what I’m hearing. They’re loving it too.”
From the Big Blue Nation, best of luck to Eric as he progresses in his career…
Go Cats!!!
