Looks like the Board of Education in the case of Eric Bledsoe believes he did earn the grades that he was given while in high school. This taken from Kentucky Sport Report’s Darrel Cartwright:[PRBREAK][/PRBREAK]

The makeup work warranted the grade change by the teacher.

Bledsoe earned his grade according to superintendent & teacher.
[/QUOTE]So basically the School Board believes their teacher because they have no choice but to do so. If the School Board would have ruled the grades incorrect it would have been a NCAA issue. Looks like this might work in the favor of the University of Kentucky.

Mitch Barnhart has released a statement on the Eric Bledsoe decision.

“We maintain our reliance on the high school, university and NCAA eligibility center for initial eligibility and will continue to do so. At no point was the University of Kentucky under investigation by the NCAA nor had any reason to believe we were ever under investigation.”
