Bishop Daniels asks for Release, Has Two Teams in Mind Early

Former Miami head coach and now-Missouri head coach Frank Haith had one signee for the Class of 2011 in Bishop Daniels.

Now, Daniels is asking for his release from Miami, and, according to him, it shouldn’t be a problem.

Daniels asked for his release on Monday and is supposed to be filling out the paper work today, making his release official.

“We will do the paper work (Tuesday). There should be no problem in getting my release,” he said without doubt.

While teams cannot begin talking to Daniels until the release of his Letter of Intent, he has some teams in mind as who he wants to look at early.

“I want to look at Tennessee and Rutgers pretty good,” Daniels said. “I just want to explore my other options and see what they are now.”

There will be a host of other teams that come calling to Daniels, too.

But for right now, Tennessee and Rutgers look to be in good position early for the 2011 shooting guard.
