To be honest, I’m not that familiar with the name Bob Gibbons, but I do know he usually knows what he is talking about.

Now most people will just say, “Oh, this is another ‘expert’ trying to speculate,” but there is some irony to this tweet.
Shaq Goodwin, another top big man in the Class of 2012, said he wasn’t as high on Kentucky because “Robert Carter talked about going there a lot” and they play the same position. The two are both friends.
Now I’m not going to say he is going to commit at the Peach Jam because his Kentucky offer has been somewhat of a mystery for a while, but that is a bold statement by a basketball veteran on the recruiting trail.
I think you can say that Carter will be the first commitment for the Class of 2012, though.
