If you watched the game last night on ESPNU, you were treated to an awesome battle in the first half. Both teams made their shots, both teams played excellent defense, and at the halftime buzzer BABC led YOMCA by only 3 points (33-30).
In the second half though, YOMCA started making mistakes, and BABC capitalized. While the teams traded baskets in the first half, YOMCA started missing shots in the second. And every time they did BABC rebounded and took it to the other end for the score. BABC wound up winning the game 84-67.
Nerlens Noel played 35 minutes for BABC and finished with another double-double. He scored 17 points on 8 of 19 shooting (1 of 2 from the line). Noel pulled down 10 rebounds and added 6 blocks, 5 assists and 4 steals.
Wayne Selden was a non-factor for BABC, playing only 5 minutes and scoring zero points. His only stats were 2 rebounds and an assist.
Jarnell Stokes got 14 points for YOMCA on 6 of 11 shooting (2 of 4 from the charity stripe). He also got 4 rebounds and 5 assists in 29 minutes of play.
