Arkansas Painting The Cats At The Half

In a first half initially dominated by the Hogs, Kentucky ended the half on a 12-7 run to draw within 2 at 34-32.

Arkansas is dominating inside the paint, hanging 20 to Kentucky’s 10. It’s been the Marshawn Powell and Rotnei Clarke show, but it hasn’t been Rotnei from behind the line as most expected, it’s been Clarke taking DeAndre Daniels to the hoop off the drive.

Knight leads the Cats with 9 points and was the only offense early as the Cats came out stone cold, but ended the half hitting 13-32 for 40.6% while holding Arkansas to 14-34 for 41.2%.

Terrence Jones has been absent, in the first, with 2 points on 1-5 from the field and 1 rebound. Josh Harrellson leads the Cats with 9 rebounds, all while pitching in 6 points.

From behind the arc, UK is shooting 2-11 for 18.2% while Arkansas is hitting 3-10 at 30%.

For the Hogs, Powell and Clarke both have 12 points with Rotnei hitting 2-5 from behind the arc.

Highlight during the first half had to be the introduction of one time Arkansas and Kentucky Coach, Eddie Sutton. Great taste for Hog fans but a bitter pill for the Big Blue Nation.

Go Cats!!!
