Anthony Davis is officially the #1 pick in the NBA Draft.
David Stern made the announcement of Davis being the newest part of the New Orleans Hornets and joins John Wall as the second Kentucky player to be the top pick in the NBA Draft.
Davis finishes up an outstanding year as he was SEC Player of the Year, SEC Athlete of the Year, National Player of the Year, Final Four MVP, and now the #1 pick in the NBA Draft.
Davis averaged 14 points, 10 rebounds, and almost 5 blocks per game as he led the Wildcats to their 8th national championship.
He joins a rebuilding Hornets team, which includes Eric Gordon, and will sure to be the focus of the franchise on and off the floor.
