I ran up on a great story on Kentucky recruit Anthony Davis and how humble he has been even being ranked the #1 player in the nation for the 2011 class. His coach, Cortez Hale, had a lot of great things to say as well about the future Wildcat that I think Big Blue Fans will love to hear.

The rankings certainly haven’t inflated his ego, as Hale said Davis has remained a “very humble kid. For him to be recognized as the No. 1 player or a top five player in the nation, you would think he would have a very cocky attitude and he would think he’s on top of the world. But no, not at all. He’s a regular kid. He walks around like . . . he’s the same Anthony that walked in here his freshman year of high school. Nothing fazes him at all. He doesn’t down his teammates; he doesn’t down other players. He still treats everyone the same and with respect.

Davis is taking that great attitude to Kentucky, which will likely again challenge for the NCAA championship again this season.
