Anthony Davis is still nursing his ankle injury that has limited him over the last week in New Orleans Hornets’ practice and ultimately decided his fate of not making the Olympic team.
John Reid of the Times Picayune is reporting that Davis could possibly play this Sunday in the NBA Summer League Opener.

`His ankle is a lot better right now,’’ Demps said. “I don’t want to say 100 percent. Our medical staff and doctor are out there working with him.’’

One would think the Hornets have been overly cautious with Davis’ ankle injury, especially since he has still not practiced this week.
Lets hope Anthony doesn’t rush back and any further complications are in his future.
