The No. 1 prospect in the Class of 2012, Drummond dropped 17 points and tore down 11 rebounds en route to St. Thomas More’s 73-59 win over Quality Education (N.C.) Monday in the Big Apple Basketball Invitational at Baruch College.
St. Thomas more coach Jere Quinn said about half a dozen schools are legitimately in the hunt for Drummond.
“Louisville, Kentucky, West Virginia, Connecticut, Pitt, North Carolina and Georgetown,” Quinn said. “No one else is even talking to him.
“I don’t think anybody else is coming in.”

UConn has been said to be the favorite for Drummond, but Kentucky is in the hunt, so you can’t count Cal out of any recruiting race.
The 2012 class doesn’t have a commitment yet, so you can figure once one commits, the rest of the class will start falling in line.
