Add Justise Winslow to the 2014 Board


Sophomores around the country are gearing up for their upcoming basketball seasons, where many will pull away from the rest and make their mark as the Class of 2014’s premiere players.

One of the talented prospects vying for that top spot is [B]Justise Winslow [/B](St. John’s HS, Tex.).

Winslow, a member of the popular Houston Defenders AAU squad, has already captured many offers. Arizona, Arizona State, Texas, Texas A&M, Houston, Rice, Harvard, Virginia, and Baylor are among the schools that have already noticed the sophomore’s talents.

While Winslow claims no favorites, Arizona seems to have a good lead on the other schools. He had many good things to say about the Wildcats; he even cites Sean Miller’s club as a team recruiting him the hardest.

“I would say Arizona and Baylor are recruiting me the hardest right now. They are making a good effort to see me play, whether it be during the summer or practicing during the season.”

John Calipari has also began showing premature interest in the 6-foot-5 star. Word emerged from the John Lucas camp in Louisville recently that Kentucky was inquiring about Winslow, but things may be heating up soon.
