A Possible Backup Plan and Possible Bad News for Kentucky Football

Do you want the bad news first?

It has been reported by Bleed Blue Kentucky’s Aaron Cordero that a very good source is telling him that Lamar Dawson is headed to Knoxville to play for the Volunteers.

We will know pretty soon as his press conference is scheduled for 9am at Boyle County High School.

I also learned that JUCO wideout Jamal Gray from Arizona Western Community College could be a possible backup plan for Joker Phillips.

If Joker loses out on a couple of recruits that doesn’t light up the fax machine, the Jamal could be an option for Coach Phillips.

Gray is a 6’1″ 200lb wide receiver who is also being recruited by Ole Miss, UNLV, Iowa State, and Illinois.

Gray visited Lexington 2 weeks ago which could lead him to being a surprise recruit on signing day.
