Flynn is a graduate of Henry Clay HS. He hit .476 with 11 home runs and 47 RBI during his senior season. Accolades as a senior include first-team All-State, leading the state in home runs, and being named regional Player of the Year and Lexington City Player of the Year.

BlugrassBaseball.com has Flynn ranked high in several categories of their pre-season leaderboard which is based on last season’s statistics for returning players in Kentucky. He is second in home runs at 15 behind only Ryan Wright of Louisville who had 16 last year. Cameron leads the slugging percentage with .658.
