Generally speaking, we hate to blame the referees for anything, but the first half vs. North Carolina was probably the worst 20 minutes of officiating ever in the NCAA Tournament.
The three-man crew, led by John Higgins, stuck it to Kentucky for the majority of the game.
Even guys like Jay Williams and Doug Gottlieb wondered what was going on:
