Kentucky Football Ranked 4th In SEC East and We Still Hate Tennessee

Propaganda was the first mission of Operation Win and it seems to be taking affect. The Media at SEC Media days has projected Kentucky to come in 4th in the SEC EAST. That means UK is ranked higher than Vanderbilt and Tennessee. Yes…TENNESSEE!!

Should Kentucky Football fans be excited about this? Well, I’m not sure about everyone else, but I’m definitely excited. Anytime we can be ranked over Tennessee is the making of a good day in my world.

Yes, UT is on a bit of a down year after their head coach, Lane Kiffen, pulled a Lebron and ran off to what he thought was the greener pastures of USC. Now, UK is ranked above UT in the SEC East (that’s called salt in the wound). Who knows, this may be the year we can finally take down the Volunteers.

Here’s an excerpt from the post on Brett Dawson’s blog…
Media at Southeastern Conference Media Days picked the Kentucky football team to finish fourth in the SEC East, the league announced Friday morning.

The Wildcats, who finished 7-6 last season, were picked to finish behind Florida, Georgia and South Carolina and ahead of Tennessee and Vanderbilt. The Gators received 153 first-place votes in media balloting. Georgia had 15 and South Carolina eight. Vanderbilt received one first-place vote.
You can read the entire article here….

And since we’re talking about Tennesse, we have to post this video. It reflects my true feelings towards the Volunteers.
