ESPN has ranked the uniforms of all the teams in the Sweet 16 and as even some of the BBN agrees, the Kentucky Wildcats are near the bottom.
The Cats’ unis are ranked #12.
There’s a fine line between having a signature visual element and having too much of a good thing. Kentucky’s checkerboard trim is on the wrong side of that line — the Wildcats need to dial it back a bit.

I have always thought the checkerboard is just too much.
