As I have been sitting around watching NFl and Season 1 of 24 all day, I have been also thinking when the next win for Kentucky football would be. Seriously, would we really have to wait till Charleston Southern to see another victory? We have Auburn next week, loss. Then we have [STRIKE]South Carolina[/STRIKE] Steve Spurrier coming into town. Loss. That is a 4 game losing streak right there. The only hope of another victory, in my opinion, is Georgia and they can’t beat anybody. Well, that seals it, there is a 5 game losing streak. Sorry for my negativity, but can you blame me? Ole Miss should have been a definite victory.. and it had nothing to do with Mike Hartline. Oscar Combs put out tweets that really got me thinking about all of this.

If you can’t beat Ole Miss on road, you’re not likely to beat either Miss. State or Tenn. Of course, that is still why you play the games.

While you can clean up the turnovers in Oxford, it’s becoming increasingly apparent there’s no quit fix to non-tackling defense. Pitiful!

Amen, it is pitiful!! I believe Steve Brown is looking for another job by the end of the season if the defense isn’t straightened out. Of course, I have my own opinion about that situation. When you have a bunch of donkeys trying to stop a bunch of thoroughbreds it is hard to keep a team from scoring. I think the talent gap is too large for this Kentucky team vs. any SEC team right now on defense. The Cats lost too much from a year ago to recover. I just hope they can rebound with a respectable performance at home vs. the Tigers. The bad thing is the experts are saying the Tigers are the only team that has a chance to beat the Crimson Tide, and you saw what they did vs. Florida. Could be another long week for Kentucky football.
