The stats in the box score below represent the average outcomes of those simulations.
The result of this game comes down to one very simple question. Can the Cats Defense stop the running game of South Carolina and the Freshman sensation Marcus Lattimore. When’s the last time you heard that about a Steve Spurrier team?
The Tigers ripped the Cats D last week for 311 rushing yards. If Lattimore and USC control the ground game, it’s going to be hard for UK to come away with the victory.
Kentucky has a better overall offense then South Carolina and they will score against. Kentucky ranks 21st Nationally in scoring, averaging 36 points per game while USC is 45th at 31.6.
The trouble is the defense where Kentucky ranks 91st overall in points allowed with 30.2 points per game while the Gamecocks rank 29th at 18.8 points per game.
Can the Cats score enough points to win a much needed home game? That question will be answered by the UK defense. Will we see the D from the first or second half odf the Auburn game?
Go Cats!!!
