You know how it is when you have a first date with someone? You like that person, and you want that person to know you like them but you don’t want to tell them? So you tell someone else to let them know in an inconspicuous way? Am I the only one who did that? Anyway, that kind of describes the way the relationship with Pat Towles and UK is starting out.
Towles is a QB in the class of 2012 from Ft. Thomas, Kentucky (Highlands H.S.). I first read the story on [URL=”http://www.bleedbluekentucky.com/?p=3920″]BleedBlueKentucky[/URL] that he would sign with UK if he was offered. Then CatsPause posted that “[URL=”http://footballrecruiting.rivals.com/barrier_noentry.asp?ReturnTo=&sid=&script=content.asp&cid=1132856&fid=&tid=&mid=&rid=”]Towles hopes to receive an offer from UK[/URL]”. I hope Kentucky get’s the message, Pat really digs them.
That’s six QBs from the 2012 class on UK’s radar – five of which are from in-state. Pat’s the biggest on the list (6′ 5, 232lbs), with Zeke Pike being a close second (6′ 5, 220lbs). I don’t know how many of those QBs would be willing to play another position, but if Towles hopes to beat the competition, he better be [STRIKE]pretty hot[/STRIKE] a pretty good QB.
