Auburn Beats Alabama 28-27; Helps UK’s Hopes at Higher Bowl Bid

The Auburn Tigers came back from a 24-0 deficit in the first half and beat the Alabama Crimson Tide 28-27. An Alabama win would have knocked Auburn out of the national title chase which would have caused a chain of events for every other SEC team below them. In other words, every other SEC team would have dropped a spot in the bowl pecking order.

Every game from here on out in the SEC effects Kentucky, including the LSU/Arkansas and Ole Miss/Mississippi State game tomorrow. The Cats need LSU and Ole Miss to win those games. Of course this all depends on the Cats winning in Knoxville to have any chance of getting a better bowl than the one in Birmingham. But that is why they play the games. Go Cats!!!
