Odds on Mr. Football 2011

[URL=”http://blogs.courier-journal.com/jodydemling/2010/12/17/more-mr-football-talk/”]Jody Demling[/URL] gave his top four contenders for Mr. Football 2011 this morning . Interestingly enough, three of the four on his list are looking at Kentucky.


4-1: [URL=”http://www.wildcatrecruits.com/playerProfile.php?Contact_ID=599″]Anthony Wale[/URL]s – Anthony “Ace” Wales is unranked in the class of 2012, but it’s only outside of Kentucky that he is not well known. The Louisville Central HS running back finished the season with 2,994 yards while helping his team win the class 3A state title. He currently holds an offer from the Cats.


6-1: [URL=”http://www.wildcatrecruits.com/playerProfile.php?Contact_ID=469″]Zeke Pike[/URL] – A 4-star QB from the class of 2012, Pike is 6’ 5”, 220 lbs. and currently attends Dixie Heights HS. He threw for 2,320 yards this year and 24 touch¬downs. He also ran for 1,100 yards and 17 TD’s. Pike is ranked in the top 100 in the nation by both Scout and Maxpreps, and has visited UK. He currently has an offer from UK.


10-1: [URL=”http://www.wildcatrecruits.com/playerProfile.php?Contact_ID=421″]Travis Elliott[/URL] – The 2012 running back from Ryle HS is unranked, but rushed for 2,202 yards this year and 35 TDs. He has visited Kentucky, but does not hold an offer as far as I know.

20-1: DarMontre Warr – Not looking at UK as far as we know.
