On New Year’s Eve, the Kentucky Wildcats will play in their first bowl game since the 2010 BBVA Compass Bowl.
Mark Stoops and the Cats should be battle tested as they faced nine bowl teams this season.

– Mississippi State (W, 40-38) – St. Petersburg Bowl vs. Miami (OH)
– Georgia (L, 27-24) – AutoZone Liberty Bowl vs. TCU
– Tennessee (L, 49-36) – Franklin American Mortgage Music City Bowl vs. Nebraska
– Louisville (W, 41-38) – Buffalo Wild Wings Citrus Bowl vs. LSU
UK’s record vs. bowl eligible teams: 4-5
For comparison’s sake…Louisville played against seven bowl teams this season. The Cardinals were 3-4 in those games.
