Sources tell WKYT-TV in Lexington that the most likely scenario for the Cats is a trip to Jacksonville, Florida for a game with Georgia Tech in the TaxSlayer Bowl on Saturday, December 31st.
The Yellow Jackets finished the season 8-4 overall and 4-4 in the ACC under head coach Paul Johnson. They finished fifth in the Coastal division.
Georgia Tech is scary because they are an option team, which is difficult to prepare for. At least Mark Stoops and the Wildcats would have several weeks to practice.
