Coach Joker Phillips received his 20th commitment for the class of 2011 this morning from 3* OLB, [B]Demarius Rancifer[/B].
Rancifer, a 6’3 210lb Pensacola Catholic linebacker verbally committed to the Cats over Ole Miss, Central Florida, West Virginia and Louisville. He’s rated as the #44 LB for the class of ’11 and #100 rated recruit out of Florida, per Rivals.com.
I think this is a very nice pickup for the Joker Phillips & company. Rancifer being from Florida probably has him more SEC ready as he’s more than likely faced elite competition several times during his high school career. Hopefully he can contribute right away!
In other football recruiting news: 4* Cali receiver, [B]Devin Lucien[/B] dropped UK from contention. 3* Christian County athlete, [B]Bubby Tandy[/B] will visit UK this weekend and will likely commit if his offer allows him to (according to Brian Eldridge). 3* Cincy LB, [B]Antonio Poole[/B] returned from his weekend visit to Miami-FL and said that he ‘loved’ his visit but didn’t receive an offer.
