Trinity offensive lineman John Heile will be taking his second unofficial visit to Kentucky this weekend according to Brian Eldridge (his first visit was last September). The 6′ 4” 275 lb. Junior is currently unranked nationally, but could increase his rating to 3-stars or better before he graduates. Heile is considered one of the top in the state, and was invited to the U.S. Army All-American Combine earlier this month.
The FCAA had this to say about Heile:
“He’s a self-starter who clearly loves the game. He goes after opponents like a heat-seeking missile. Comes off the ball aggressively and has the skills to reach, block back and even get to the second level with little trouble. Uses his hands well and can stalemate a spinning defensive lineman. At 6-foot-3, he still plays low enough to get under defenders’ pads at the line of scrimmage. Plays with great leverage and can knock nose guards and defensive tackles off the ball.Coaches this kid can PLAY” (source)
According to Scout, Heile is garnering interest from Akron, Auburn, Duke, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisville, Vanderbilt and Wake Forest – but has no offers yet and hasn’t taken any “official” visits.
